Artist: Franco Micalizzi~~~ Title: Violence!~~~ Pressing: Original Italian on Cometa Edizioni Musicali from 1974~~~ Grade: Vinyl~ Vg++ very very clean, inaudible paper scuffs Cover~ Vg++~~~ Blurb: One of a limited press of 500, this is surely one of the rarest and heaviest soundtracks around. Micalizzi sets a menacing tone throughout that has a lot in common with Roy Budd’s darker moments. This is what blaxploitation. Com says: “Violence!, an obscure John Saxon Italian B-movie, features an excellent small group funk soundtrack. The instrumentation is classic funk, a strong breakbeat driving every track, with hard brass, guitar and flute. The theme is excellent and reprised throughout the score. Very similar in sound to Bullet's 'The Hanged Man'. Overall Rating: 4” Lot’s of good material hear, but the true standout track is called ‘Fiato Suspeso’ it’s a funky masterpiece, complete with a driving beat and a smoked out flute riff….should have been comped a long time ago.~~~~ Payment: Please get me payment within ten days of the auction’s close.
