Bel Canto Hi-Fidelity Demonstration Album

This is one of the early pressings of a hi-fi demo lp from Bel Canto, a leader in audiphile technology since the days of Moses, more or less.  Alas, they started using plain old black vinyl in the 60s, and now they aren't pressing vinyl at all.  Here they employed not only the obligatory blue, red, purple and green, but they also worked a few large patches of tortoise shell into the composition!

Ah yes, compositional balance — the real reason for producing such a fine piece of eye candy in LP format — it becomes obvious once you get it on the turntable, where you'll soon discover that the audio elements of this album are approximately as mind boggling as the visual!  This is especially true on side one, which begins with an actual atomic explosion, followed by a stereophonic tour of various noisy city landmarks — an acoustical romp that will have you clutching at your seat (if not leaning into the curves and falling off...) as your guide cuts an occasional sharp corner.  Side two has various musical tracks, also recorded in quality Bel Canto high fidelity.

You get the original album jacket too, though it's seen a bit of wear.  The record itself is in excellent shape, having been admired often but rarely played.  It could quite conceivably be the most beautiful record ever pressed!
