Description
Vintage Vogue Picture Record Shep Fields Orchestra R764
Up for auction is a Very Neat Old Vintage Vogue Picture Disc Record. The pictures are near perfect, not tested for sound. It is a 2 sided graphically done picture record. Each side has a different picture depiction. I don't know the age (roughly 1946 to 1947) but the manufacturer seems to be Vogue, Sav-Way Industries, Detroit, Michigan, A Tom Saffady Product. I will be listing several of these great picture records. I believe these to be but am not sure sure if they are 78 rpm records or not? Collectors will most likely know the correct rpm of the discs, view pics. They are very mildly worn yet still mostly good & intact. They measure approx. 10" in diameter. Overall a nice vintage City & Restaurant Diner scene disc with the slightest of wear. I don't think they were played much. Nice depiction of a Man in the city on the one side & Man & woman in soda fountain on the other. The songs are "I Guess I'll Get The Papers (and go home)" & the opposing side, "What Ya Gonna Do!" both by Shep Fields and his Orchestra. There is the number R764 on both sides. I am no expert in Antique old Records, Music, Picture disks or like products, so, please bid according to what you know or like. There are some pictures so please look closely at what you will actually be getting, see photos. This Record is being sold as found from an old New England Estate with imperfections included.
I will be listing several vintage various lots & other old items so please check back often for some great items!! All are being sold AS IS AS Found!!
