Vintage Album w/3 Records RHUMBAS Cugat & Madriguera VOGUE PICTURE R777 R778

   This is a vintage record album with three 78 rpm records which are all Rhumba music.  The first one is a Columbia in the regular black with Yo Ta Namora and Anna Boroco Tinde both by Xavier Cugat.  The other two are delightful full color illustrated with picutres set inside clear plastic (or whatever it was that records were made of back then).  These have on them, La Rumbita Tropical &Tiqui Tiqui Tan with number R777, and  Guilty of Love & Mucho Dinero with number R778..These songs are all done by Enric Madriguera and his Gilmore Orchestra and those two records are "Vogue The Picture Record" made by Sav-Way Industries, Inc., Detroit 13, Michigan and were produced between 1946 and 1947. The album these three records are in has just the three envelopes which fit these perfectly...someone years ago covered it with some green, now faded, paper and taped a card on the front with a hand printed, "Rhumbas by Cugat and Madriguera" and on the inside there is another card taped on with the listing of all six sides. Having never taken the paper off, I have no idea what the original album cover looks like...might be in good condition having been covered for many years but who knows...These records are really great and very collectible...they look to be in good condition.  Some light wear and scratching on the black one but to me it looks still decent and like it will still play...and the picture ones look even better...but I have no record player to test them.  Nice small collection to Rhumba by and just have for fun!
