Description
This listing is for one original vintage 45 RPM record adapter featuring a striking abstract swirl design.
Some adapters are prized because of the company name molded into them. Others are prized because of how seldom they appear. This adapter falls firmly into the second category.
Unlike most vintage adapters, this example carries no obvious manufacturer name or identifying markings. What it does have is one of the most unusual and visually appealing designs I've encountered. The flowing three-arm swirl creates an almost hypnotic appearance that looks more like modern sculpture than a simple record accessory.
Over many years of collecting and researching adapters from around the world, I have encountered very few examples of this design. In fact, it ranks among the rarest unidentified adapters in my collection.
The adapter's elegant curves and minimalist construction set it apart from the more common three-prong, spider, wheel, and jukebox-style adapters produced during the 45 RPM era. Its distinctive appearance makes it an immediate conversation piece and a standout display item.
Features:
• Original vintage 45 RPM record adapter
• Extremely uncommon swirl design
• Unidentified manufacturer
• Black molded plastic construction
• Beautiful minimalist styling
• Highly desirable advanced collector piece
• Rarely seen on the secondary market
Condition is shown in the photographs. Please review all photos carefully as they are part of the description.
Perfect for:
• Advanced 45 RPM adapter collectors
• Vintage vinyl enthusiasts
• Jukebox collectors
• Design and industrial art collectors
• Record memorabilia collections
• Rare and unusual adapter collections
One of the great things about adapter collecting is that there are still mysteries to be discovered. This adapter is a perfect example. Its maker may be unknown, but its rarity and unique appearance are undeniable. For collectors who enjoy owning pieces that few others have ever seen, this is a remarkable addition to any collection.
