Description
Up for your consideration is this promo EP from RCA Records featuring 6 singles by RCA artists, including Elvis Presley who was just really starting to take off in popularity nationally. The record was to promote Elvis' single "Love Me" along with Tony Cabot - "Anchors Aweigh", Tito Puente - "That's a Puente", Tony Scott - "Rock Me But Don't Roll Me", The Three Suns - "Happy Face Baby", and Dave Pell - "Prom to Prom". The record grading is #9 Near Mint - plays fine (see rating guide below). The sleeve grading is #7 Very Fine showing hardly any use, but it has an "R" written in marker on the right side of Elvis' head on the cover. The back of the sleeve has information on other promo records from RCA. A scarce piece. We will take extra care in packing for a safe trip.

RECORD AND COVER SLEEVE RATING GUIDE:
Most of our records and covers will fall in the 8, 9 & 10 rating. We don’t deal in anything less than a #6, unless it is REAL rare.
10. MINT -
Record: Perfect, like new, pristine and unused. Absolutely no flaws of any kind. Very few records will make this rating.
Cover/Sleeve: Generally still sealed and mint. Not a flaw to be found. Very few old covers/sleeves will make this rating.
9. NEAR MINT -
Record: Would be considered mint, but has probably been played. Still looks like brand new.
Cover/Sleeve: Might show minuscule spots of wear at seam, but one would have to look very hard to see anything.
8. VERY FINE -
Record: Excellent condition and extremely clean. Record has been played, but there is not much evidence of use and certainly no scratches of any kind.
Cover/Sleeve shows only very minor wear at seam and/or corners. Printed surface is near mint and showing no wear.
7. FINE -
Record: Very nice example. Record may show very minor use, possibility a minor hairline or two, but not audible. What most people call mint, usually falls into this rating.
Cover/Sleeve: Only the slightest of surface wear on surface and/or some very minor wear at seam and/or corners.
6. VERY GOOD -
Record: Very light use from handling and possibility a few hairline scratches, but still nothing audible.
Cover/Sleeve: May have light wear at seam with minor splits, light wear at corners, and possibly a small crease, scratch or a light smudge on surface, but all very minor. Faint evidence of ring wear possibly starting to show.
5. GOOD -
Record: Light scratches in record could be audible, but nothing too bad. Still plays fine without too much noise
Cover/Sleeve: Still very presentable but with seam splits, wear here and there, ring wear, but nothing too serious
4. FAIR -
Record: Shows use. Scratches will be somewhat obvious when played.
Cover/Sleeve: Starting to show quite a bit of wear here and there with tears at seams, creases and tears on surface.
3 AND BELOW -
Pretty much trashed. Don't waste your money on these ratings, unless it is an extremely rare record.
