Vintage 30's Gretsch Model 35 Archtop Acoustic

This is a Vintage 30's Gretsch Model 35 and was the Gretsch companies very first archtop guitar,

introduced in 1933 and it came in three versions, this being their top of the line model. Featuring double

body binding, a bound neck and beautiful inlay on the neck and headstock. It is the exact same shape and

size as a Gibson L5 which it was made to compete with. It has the original Grover hardware and original case.

It is stunning and just waiting for the right someone to come along and bring it back to life.

The tailpiece is cracked at the hinge but can be fixed. There are a few light nicks and scratches but the

finish is the original racoon sunburst finish and the frets are original with no wear spots.

The Grover tuning machines are original too and work great. The case has been banged around and

sports a couple of strips of duct tape to hold on some of the leather that is worn.
