This beautifully presented LP is acknowledged as the rarest of The Kinks’ standard issue UK albums. The album was the band’s last to chart in the UK and is doubtlessly one of their finest.

Record played for grading and is in superb condition with only a few marks / light scratches, which do not affect the playability of the record. Vinyl rating: VG.

For a 42 year old unvarnished silver sleeve, this is in remarkably good condition, with some slight rubbing on edges and a few small tears to the surface on the spine, but with all printing clearly legible. Only the slightest of marking / creasing to the front and rear, including of course the signatures of three of the four original band members. These were obtained by the seller in 1993 – the Davies brothers’ at a concert in Nottingham, and Mick Avory’s at the Kinks Konvention. The rear still bears the original record store sticker, which has become slightly detached, but if anything adds to the character of this highly collectable item. Sleeve rating: VG.

Will be packed in a thick cardboard mailer, protected with bubble wrap, with the record left out of the sleeve to prevent transit damage.

*** On a second playthrough I have identified one scratch which I missed first time round. This is a few millimetres long and causes several pops / jumps over the last 13 - 15 seconds of track 1. The remainder of the record is pretty much perfect and I maintain my original grading of VG. ***
