Up for sale is my promo copy of The Jam’s Setting Sons, one of my favourite Jam albums. I’ve had this in my possession for a number of years and have never played it.
The album cover is in very good condition, with only a small rub mark on the bottom of the sleeve, there are no rips or tears in the sleeve or the record cover.
The album is a first edition, sticker on the back with the track listing, what sets this apart from the rest is the fact it’s a promo copy, this is embossed on the back of the album cover, in my time looking for records I have never come across another one of these.
The vinyl itself looks to be unmarked to the eye, the central stickers are intact.
Like I said, I’ve not seen one of these before, who knows, this might have been played on the radio way back when...
I am putting this up for auction, if it does sell I would like this to go to a serious collector, this should be kept and looked after and appreciated for what it is...
