Description
This one is extremely rare and a great thing to own if you collect or like The Beatles. On sale is the Dutch Parlophone test pressing of The Beatles' 1979 Rarities album. Only a handful of these were made and fewer have survived. This comes from a collection of one of the children of an EMI producer who has kept it stored for over 40 years and has hardly played it. The sleeve has The Beatles and the Matrix number (PSLP261) handwritten on it. The record has a white Proefpersing (Dutch for Test Pressing) label on both the A side and B side. The sheet with details on the album (cue sheet) is missing. The record sounds good, and looks really good, with only a few ticks and some crackling. The sleeve itself is in a, at best, fair condition with some small holes as shown in the pictures. There are no tears, but it is over 40 years old and it looks like that. The plastic innersleeve is also loose from the paper sleeve, as I've tried to show in the last picture. If you need any more pictures, just ask!
I make sure the records I send out are well-packed as I've had some disappointing experiences when it comes to shipping in the past with stuff I had ordered myself. See feedback.
Registered shipping only! Ebay won't give me the options I want, but shipping and handling is: Nederland 13 euro's, EU 18 euro's, UK 24 euro's, Rest of the world 33 euro's. Wait until I've sent you an invoice. If you live outside the EU (import) taxes might apply!
