Description
An exceedingly uncommon early acoustic 1-sided disc from the Kalamazoo Duplex Phonograph Company of Kalamazoo, Michigan. As depicted on the label, the duplex phonograph featured *two* horns attached one to each side of the reproducer (so one horn was pushing air while the other was pulling). The Duplex could play any standard disc, but that didn't stop Kalamazoo from trying to market their own records -- they are very very rare. The selection sounds like the baritone Bob Roberts singing one of his comic race specialities.
This disc is very good condition with good shine, light wear, and plays great. The residue of a tape sticker (removed years before I got the record) are on the label. It appears the underlying label is intact and that the sticker residue may clean up fine.

Record grading
Grading covers the visual condition of the record taken as a whole, not the actual recording. I tend to undergrade – so when you see a record graded "B", it will actually be a record in very good condition. For 2-sided records, the lowest grade of the two will be reported. Good, sometimes great shine. B- Very good. Noticeable wear and/or moderate scratches. Some shine, sometimes good shine. C Average. Rather worn looking and/or with heavy scratches. D Worn out. Records are sleeved in padded 'sandwiches' bracketed by cardboard inside a padded box.
Handling charges include tracking, insurance, and packing materials (always a new box and padding).
