Description
Brother Claude Ely - Get Away Jordan - Gold Star. Hillbilly gospel dynamo Brother Claude Ely released this rare LP on his own Gold Star label toward the end of his life. If I am not mistaken, these are his last recordings. Produced at Jordan studio by the legendary Dennis Hensley. In my experience this is the rarest of the Ely LPs. All of them are tough to come by but I have only ever seen this album once.
Condition: VG+. Tight shrink wrap and barely any wear to the jacket or vinyl. The record is nearly new. Please check my other listings for plenty of rare, small label, privately pressed and otherwise unique hillbilly, bluegrass, gospel, garage, blues, R&B and soul 45s and other musical items.
I am leaving town for a month on Tuesday, June 10, so if all winning bidders can have their payments posted by Monday, June 9 at the latest it would be much appreciated. All packages will be shipped out before my departure. I am happy to combine shipping. Your money back if not completely satisfied.
International buyers: Airmail rates apply up to 4 lbs. (approximately 5 records without gatefold covers). Rates change substantially above this weight. Express Mail is highly recommended for items over $100.00 for both your protection and mine.
I reserve the right to require Express Mail when shipping to buyers with low or poor feedback ratings.
