Description
This one is extremely rare and a great thing to own if you collect or like Deep Purple. On sale is the Dutch Purple Records test pressing of Deep Purple's 1977 Powerhouse album. Only a handful of these were made and fewer have survived. This comes from a collection of one of the children of an EMI producer who has kept it stored for over 40 years and has hardly played it. The sleeve has Deep Purple written on it and the Matrix number (062-60072), it is also stamped Proefpersing, Dutch for Testpressing. The record has the white Proefpersing label on the A side and a white label on the B side. The sheet with details on the album (cue sheet) is missing. The record sounds good, and looks really good, with only a few ticks and some crackling. Matrix of this one is 5C062-60072 A-33905-1-Y for the A side and 5C062-60072-B-33906-1-Y for the B side. The sleeeve itself is in a, at best, fair condition with some holes and some folds as shown in the pictures. Both reord and sleeve are over 40 years old, and the sleeve shows this!
