Ultra Rare 1969 UK Liphook(Liphook 1) Private Pressing LP;Jellybread self-titled mini album-6 tracks.Very rare&limited private LP,the 1st recordings of this British Blues Boom band who went on to make LP's for Blue Horizon,of course.Pete Wingfield on Piano&vocals,Paul Butler on guitar,John Best(Bass)Chris Waters(Drums).LP is mostly covers-Howlin Wolf's 'Sugar Mama,Junior Parkers' Drivin'Wheel etc. but has 2 of their own numbers.Nice period Brit Blues. Cover has some slight wear,commensurate with age,light creasing,bump to top left-hand corner,feint ringwear to front cover,more noticeable ringwear to back cover.Generally pretty good considering it's age rarity and somewhat home-made nature.

Now onto the vinyl-basically the vinyl is Excellent-.It plays Excellent.However, it is one of a particular group of LP's of mine that seems to have been infected by a sort of vinyl virus-no I'm not joking,I'm deadly serious-some very rare&valuable LP's have been visually ruined by a sort of tie-dye pattern imprinted on the vinyl,a little like a sunburst effect.It's quite hard to describe.They play perfectly,the pattern does'nt affect play,just the look of the vinyl .This LP is one of them.Don't know if the LP's on that particular shelving were packed too tight,or beacuse they had'nt been taken out of the sleeves for some time-years in some cases-or something to do with the protective covers they all had.I can only guess the reason.I wrote to Record Collector some time ago to warn other collectors that it may happen to their LP's but I received no reply or publication of my letter.Check those long-unplayed LP's! Because of the visual look of the vinyl I'm offering it at a low starting price/Buy It Now.
