Description
- 'Verve Jazz Book' 10 LP compilation.
- 10 LPS in paper sleeves with booklet, track listing inserts in cloth bound hardback case.
- Early 1970s release cat no 2615 005
- Two track listing inserts, identical apart from one has 'Produced by Norman Granz' credit.
- Booklet with biogs and tracklistings.
- Recordings from 1950s to 1970.
- Each artist has a side - they are ~Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Jimmy Smith, Wes Montgomery, Stan Getz, Gerry Mulligan, Oscar Peterson, Lionel Hampton, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Anita O'Day, Benny Goodman, Gene Krupa, Johnny Hodges, Lester Young, Art Tatum, Bill Evans, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie.
- Made in Germany.
- 2.8KG in weight.
Condition
- Excellent overall condition. Records are near mint and most look unplayed, some light marks on the Holiday / O'Day LP and the Oscar Peterson side has smudges which have probably come from years in the inner bag . Case and cover and inserts have some marks, creases, dust. Tear on back top of cover.
