Descriptive Details Contents Verdi: Aida Performers Herbert von Karajan (conductor), Vienna Philharmonic Catalog# London OSA 1313 — 3 LPs with Libretto Label Original ffss pressing — Factory Sealed Cast Renata Tebaldi Giulietta Simionato Carlo Bergonzi Cornell MacNeil Condition LPs are factory sealed, in New condition. Box cover is sealed and thus very clean with some minor wear. This includes some small light dirt spots in several places, small amount of rubbing to the right of the front cover's ffss logo, & a small 1/8" scrape on the rear cover in the lower left corner. In the attached picture, the "rough" area close to the lower right corner & to the left of "Verdi" are but rips in the shrink wrap. And some of the dark spots on the top of the rear cover are on the shrink wrap, not on the actual cover. Info This is a quite rare factory sealed original pressing of this late 1950's album. A respected version of Aida that has been a long time resident in Harry Pearson's The Absolute Sound (TAS) Super Disc List, especially considering that over the years, only 12 operas have been on this Super Disc List. The most recent version of this list is available on the Internet. Insurance Purchasing insurance is optional though recommended as the Seller is not responsible should the post office damage or misplace a package.
