Description
The Velvet Underground - White Light White Heat Verve Records # V6-5046 - Dead Wax Etch # (V6-5046 Side 1 MGS-1258) - (Original Blue Verve Label) See photo differences between recent press and this press.
Disc is VG+ with a few light hairs on each side. Strong original luster. Original Verve heavy press micro-groove. Under Velvet Underground intro on left of blue label, it reads "Prod. By Tom Wilson". the MGM Made in USA on label with other "prod" Tom Wilson verifies this is an original first press. Along with OG inner sleeve Verve Pinwheel design.
Cover is VG+ or slightly better with light fade and slight beginning of ring wear. All spins good, top left corner has some fray. One red sticker on front cover, could be peeled off if owner dared. Original MGM "printed in USA" stamp on bottom left of front cover along title spine.
Original Inner Sleeve with Verve Pinwheel design is EX/VG+ with one corner fold to protect bottom seem of inn sleeve.
