Description

An original 1st press on USA Burbank Warners from 1974. Heavy-set vinyl with clean original labels.  The vinyl comes housed in an original '74 cover with pate-over rear. Note the deletion cut bottom right. That was a technique they employed in the USA when titles were exiting the charts. The original Warners inner is still present. So, 100% genuine 100% and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has only seen light careful use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of slight marks per side, a superficial trail - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. The 1st pressings really are where its at. Lovely acoustic feed. Not quite perfect - but not far from it in reality... and more than capable of revealing Van's genius on this title. A few slight and minor static crackles very occasionally in one track per side. In total - a pretty sweet player which is a hard find on Van's acoustic style. If you are a VAN FAN - and need some really epic audio on this title...then have a serious think about this one. We can guarantee you a literally VANTASTIC rendition from this USA 1st.
Cover (VG) On the face of it not too bad really - and many will look pretty poor I'd imagine. Surfaces do not exhibit much wear, but a bit of surface dirt in the edge sectors... Slight edge wear in a couple of spots - hardy anything. Text on spine is 90%+ legible - with slightest wear. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. DO NOT - miss the deletion cut to the bottom right corner.
Inner (Vg+) Slight ageing. No splits. But pretty decent really.
