Description
Here for auction: WS 1835 Van Morrison "Moondance": Original UK first orange label with black lettering. Very thick vinyl released in 1970. Matrix side 1 WA 1835 A-1 * T. Side 2 WA 1835 B-1 * T Has had one previous owner before me, who loved and looked after his records.
I have checked parts of both sides of the disc for sound quality on a Thorens TD160 with Shure M75 cartridge, Roksan Kandy RA mk III amp and B & W DM 603 floorstander's. I hope this gives a fair representation of the disc's quality in the description below.
Vinyl is in EX+ condition.Very clean overall with just a few small, minor marks.These are light and don't affect the sound quality.They cannot be seen unless pretty closely inspected...The disc lies flat and has no warping or kinks...And sound quality is really very nice indeed with beautifully clear and undistorted reproduction.Surfaces are pretty much silent... A truly excellent copy which will certainly give much pleasure.
Cover is EX+ condition. Still in really great shape with very little against it.It has one minor crease at one corner which is seen only as you get close.Otherwise very fine.Has been kept in pvc cover I believe.Spine,edges and corner's all in top shape.
Label's EX+ Have some spindle marks.Free of any other marks or blemishes.
Inner sleeve looks as though it may be original and is EX.
This valueable LP must be sent "signed for" which costs a little more than standard.
