Up for sale is one(1) Van Halen - Self Titled Debut LP from 1978 on Warner Bros. Records (#BSK 3075). FIRST PRESSING. This is the misprint version with the number 4 listed twice on side one. There is No Barcode.
THIS IS THE SUPER RARE LABEL MISPRINT VERSION WITH side 1 tracks being listed as 1, 2, 3, 4, 4, 5
instead of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
I recently played this LP and it still sounds AWESOME.
The Vinyl is in Good+ condition, but has some visual some surface marks that may cause some surface noise and you may hear some pops & clicks along the along the way. The surface marks look worse than they sound. They do not cause any skips. This LP plays all the way through without any skips. It actually plays better than Good+, but because of the visual surface marks I'm grading it as Good+.
Nice fairly clean labels with some spindle marks.
The cover is in Good condition, but has heavy wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, some crumples, scrapes, white fade spots, and ring wear. There is a small split seam and peeling on the spine.
The custiom inner sleeve is in Good condition but has a split seam on 3 sides and has some crumples & small tears throughout. The LP is now being housed in a separate plain white sleeve.
I obtained this LP in the late 1970's. It was played many times back in the day, but not played in over 30 years. It has been in storage ever since.
