Description

Valentines (AC/DC Bon Scott) ~ RARE debut 45 (Clarion)

Everyday I Have To Cry b/w I Can’t Dance With You

The Valentines – Everyday I Have To Cry 45 (orig. Australia MONO Clarion MCK-1773—1967)

Release date: May 1967.

On offer here is an EXTREMELY RARE original issue of THE VALENTINES first Australian 7” single, with BON SCOTT (pre-FRATERNITY and AC/DC) sharing lead vocal duties with VINCE LOVEGROVE.  ARTHUR ALEXANDER originally recorded the A-side, and the flip is an obscure SMALL FACES cover version.  “I Can’t Dance With You” is an absolute classic and appears to have completely flown under the radar with collectors of AUSSIE 60s GARAGE-BEAT.
