Description
This vintage Beatles album has the misprinted "I cry instead" listed in the tracklist but that's nothing compared to the next flaw, which is major. Side A is normal, however, side B plays the same songs on side A despite the label difference. The pressings on each side are the same, meaning the songs "I should have known better", "If I fell", "And I love her", "Ringo's theme", "Can't buy me love", and the instrumental version of "A hard day's night" are nowhere to be heard on this record. Apparently whoever bought this LP over 50 years ago lived with that, and the confusion that ensued could explain why there are crosses over the songs in pen on the back cover. Not knowing this flaw at the time, when I first played side 2, hearing A Hard Day's Night instead of I Should Have Known Better, and having just heard A Hard Day's Night on side 1 just minutes earlier, I thought I was losing my mind because I swore I had flipped it over, low and behold this LP is a mistake.
The jacket has its fair share of wear; the corners are damaged and someone wrote on it with pen in areas. The sleeve also has some damage and folds. The record itself is in good condition, it plays well on both sides and is enjoyable, although there are some scratches, it still plays really well. I will include a plastic sleeve.
