Very rare original Dutch only 1979 promotional LP for the latest Volkswagen Transporter van. "De nieuwe Volkswagen Transporter". See scan.

Monster DJ friendly floorfiller with the most demented synths, arps, polymoogs etc. over insane drums, a relentless track that builds and builds into a mindblowing cosmic synth overload, just drop it when the club's peaking and watch the place explode!!

Super rare and KILLER cosmic funk psych record (indeed, somehow hard to categorize), this was only ever distributed among Volkswagen dealers in the Netherlands.
Most likely the more experimental tracks on this LP were not meant for your average Volkswagen dealer to like, the musicians go all-out spacy, particularly on one track which sounds like it comes straight from a new wave punk/funk party in Manhattan somewhere around 1980.

This record was given to the new owners of Volkwagen Transporters back in 1980, promising them "technical impressions" of the van in question. Apparently, people who were into this particular Volkswagen van were heavily interested in abstract musical interpretations of the insides of their car, or so the people from the marketing department assumed. So how does this record sound? Apart from some heavy fusion funk, which could be described as "technical" in a slightly different way, there's weird electronic stuff going on on some tracks.
