STUDY IN BLUE by THE HOUR OF CHARM

VOGUE RECORDS # R725 / R726

Original 1940’s pressing Vogue Picture Disc Box Set.  This set contains 2 records featuring colored artwork on all four sides.  These were produced by Sav-Way Industries in Detroit, Michigan and were ended when the company went bankrupt in 1947.

The recordings are all by “The Hour Of Charm All Girl Orchestra”.  The songs are “Alice Blue Gown”, “Rhapsody In Blue Part 1”, “Rhapsody In Blue Part 2” and “Blue Skies”.

CONDITION: The playing grooves grade a strong VG+ on the first record and a nice VG+ on the second.  The color of the artwork is vivid on all sides and these would display beautifully.  The records have no chips and no cracks. Like many Vogue records, these have a very light warp which does not affect play.  The box is in VG condition.
