VIVIAN STANSHALL – MEN OPENING UMBRELLAS AHEAD

This is a very rare copy of the much sought after 1974 first solo album by Vivian Stanshall.
This is a WHITE LABEL, not a shop bought LP, (The label has the track listing written on by hand).
The vinyl is completely unmarked, bright and shiny and there are no visible scratches at all.
This is a private sale, I am not a dealer and as such I will not attempt to “Grade” the condition as the dealers do but I can make the following observations.
Recently listened to, loudly and through headphones, all tracks play perfectly; there are NO scratches or other audible blemishes. In some quieter sections and between tracks there is the typical faint noise you would expect of a 36 year old LP although probably not noticeable through speakers and certainly only very, very slight and occasional. I have always taken great care of my LP’s.
The outer sleeve is in very good condition although there is a very small surface tear measuring about 15mm x 10mm (see photo).
I believe the shop sale versions had an inner sleeve – this White Label copy does not, just the Outer Sleeve, a Plain White Cardboard Inner Sleeve and the Polythene Protection Sleeve.
