Description

You are bidding on a private press lp by Vincent Contreas, entitled "Wild Strawberries", released on Audem Records in 1976. Backed by a full band, Vincent lays down a late night, laid back rural rock sound, bringing to mind Gary Higgins' "Red Hash" lp & David Crosby's "If Only I Could Remember My Name", with vocals that are a dead ringer for Jerry Garcia! Some nice moody Neil Young-ish downer touches ("I Feel Like I'm Losing", "Take My Hand, Babe"), excellent fuzz guitar solos by Steve Hobson, congas & keys, etc.! Seen on euro dealers lists for big bucks in lesser condition, here's a EX/M- copy in shrink, no reserve! Good luck!
