Up for sale:
A beautiful and collectible first stereo pressing of Vince Guaraldi’s “A Charlie Brown Christmas” Original Soundtrack featuring the famous Peanuts characters. An amazing Christmas gift for any record collector.
This is the 1965 stereo pressing on the blue Fantasy label. Deep grooves on both sides. Cover is still in the shrink wrap!
The record has been cleaned on a VPI 16.5, and is visually and play-graded at VG+. The vinyl is glossy but has a few light marks and scuffs on each side. On my system, it plays strong with just light background noise. Side A has a light repeating click for about 1/3 of the first track and then just a few other light clicks on the rest of the side; Side B has only a few light clicks and otherwise is perfect. No skips!
The cover is still in the shrink wrap and is in almost perfect condition. The only flaws are some bumped corners and age-toning along the opening edge. Graded as EX. Hard to imagine finding a better looking copy!
For shipping, the vinyl will be stored outside of the jacket in an anti-static sleeve and the jacket protected by a new plastic sleeve. The record and jacket will be shipped flat between cardboard stiffeners in an oversized mailer.
