Description

About This Record.  Here's another cool rare slab of vinyl from my record vault, another of a couple of dozen Blues LPs I will be auctioning over the next few days (check back!).  This is Jimmy Reed's LP from 1959 entitled Found Love on Vee Jay Records LP-1022 in supremely rare Maroon Label format.  This was the last release on the Maroon label and few were pressed; most were pressed on the rainbow label.  This also has the sticker affixed to the front cover featuring the hit songs (with small price sticker removal mark) Please see Details below and CHECK my Feedback which shows you my grading of the vinyl I have sold Cover/Vinyl, and what the lucky people who bought my vinyl thought about our experience.  The Photos of the labels list details about the songs and should answer any questions you have about the labels.

I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and most foreign buyers who contact me with questions beforehand) in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase.  Comes hand-cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning machine (hate those automated 17's) and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren.  And two plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).

Please note that I work for eBay and this link is to the Code I have to abide by as an eBay employee:  http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/everyone-employee.html I have no clue who works in the Collectibles Division and am not involved in any policy or other decisions that go on; I just happen to like vinyl and happen to work at eBay

Cover Condition: Very Good (VG).  This is a nice heavy stock original mono cover with the yellow sticker top right that has a price sticker removal mark.  The top  seam has a four inch tear on right side, corner wear, and bottom seam has three inch split in the middle, and a smaller split in the right lower front cover corner.  Some chips out of the cover near top spine.  Just light ring wear (I've stored this for decades in a plastic sleeve with the vinyl housed separately).

Vinyl Condition: Strong VG+.  Looks VG with some very light but noticeable scuffs that do not affect play, but plays EX- although there is light background noise between most songs, and sporadic imperfections that usually accompany older blues records like this.  So . . . VG+.  Please See MY Feedback about other similarly graded records, as you can tell from my feedback, and PLEASE See all the Photos I took.  I didn't take them for fun and frolic.

Labels:  Excellent but has spindle marks around center hole; no writing, stickers etc. NICE! (Please see photos of all labels)

Inserts: Comes with original (I think) smaller inner hole white (now brown) innersleeve, but also comes cleaned on my VPI Record Cleaning Machine and in a new innersleeve (so the old dust does not reattach!  OH my gosh!!.

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.  I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic innersleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool records transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy carboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and “Fragile” to help facilitate a safe passage.

Shipping and Payment.  PayPal only.  I ship promptly worldwide; sometimes the automatic eBay invoice does not have accurate shipping if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. . . . I will ship by any method you want.  But if you do not pay for protecting your purchase by requesting insurance, or expensive International Priority Mail, then please understand the record will be shipped at your own risk and not mine.  I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways, unless you live outside North America in which case I will refund you shipping one way unless I made a mistake which I sometimes do because I am only human..  CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS:  Please add sales tax!
