PLEASE NOTE: I WILL ONLY GRADE AN OPENED LP NEAR MINT (NM) IF I CAN GUARANTEE IT HAS NEVER BEEN PLAYED (i.e. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER).  OTHERWISE, NEAR MINT MINUS (NM-) IS THE ABSOLUTE HIGHEST GRADE I WILL ASSIGN AN OPENED LP.

VERY rare CRC (Columbia Record Club) pressing from 197? with small CRC directly under STEREO text in the middle white strip on the labels and COLUMBIA NY stamp in dead wax on side 1!  I have had well over a hundred copies of this LP pass through my hands in my 40+ years of collecting but never seen this variant before and there is NO Discogs entry.  Rare as hens teeth.  LP side 1 is a beautiful VG++ with a light scuff on Stairway and side 2 is a gorgeous VG++/NM-.  Cover is a beautiful VG++/NM-.  Includes original printed inner sleeve with complete Stairway lyrics.


I USE GOLDMINE GRADING:   MINT (SEALED) NEAR MINT: LOOKS UNPLAYED VG++:  VERY VERY MINIMAL SIGNS OF USE VG+:  AVERAGE SIGNS OF USE, NOTHING DEEP, SUPERFICIAL VG:  STILL AN OK RECORD, NOISE BETWEEN SONGS GOOD: WORN BUT PLAYS FINE WITH DISTRACTING NOISE POOR:  FILLER COPY ONLY.  LOTS OF SCRATCHES
