Description
Here is a RARE original press album from my collection offered up for sale: "Violent Femmes" their first earth shaking 1st press US Lp. released 1982 on Slash records 1-23845! These guys dared to be different right from the start! Mixing a punk pop sound with catchy tunes which have stood the test of time! The group is still performing after 50 years and 10 albums of great innovative music. (Their current drummer plays on a barbecue grill!) This is a RARE first pressing of their first album which has gone platinum and is ranked in the top 1000 records of all time!
The vinyl rates VG+/EX, is super glossy and clean, ,only some light sleevewear and a few very small and light imperfections to glassy finish record! This LP has been play tested. Plays excellent with bright deep sound, minimal surface noise, a very enjoyable listen! Outstanding!!
The cover rates EX, Outstanding! has deep color to front image, edges and corners excellent, no splits, no tape, binder edge EX & readable, back is fantastic too! NO RING WEAR!!! WOW! Has original lyric inner sleeve. A small split at center of inner sleeve.(see all photos)
Will be shipped in a plastic sleeve in a record mailing box with tracking. Vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits. Check my seller's list eBay store "Groove Vibrations" for more Beatles records and other vintage record gems!
