VERY RARE WARNER MACK
“ROC-A-CHICKA”
“SINCE I LOST YOU”
ORIGINAL DECCA USA 78 RPM
This great slab of Rockabilly was written and recorded by Warner McPherson aka Warner Mack in 1957.
The first demos of this song were recorded in the Delta Recording Studio in Jackson Mississippi and when Decca A&R man Paul Cohen heard them he immediately signed him up.
The tracks were re-recorded in February 1957 with the Anita Kerr Quartette and this Legendary Rockabilly Classic was issued in October 1957.
Warner also earned some songwriting royalties when Jim Lowe covered the song.
This 78 is in Very Good condition with only light scuffs and scratches here and there.
It is flat with no chips or cracks and the centre labels are clean.

FANTASTIC REALLY LOUD AND BRIGHT
