Description
This is the very rare unpeeled butcher cover.( T 2553) For those who aren't familiar with why it so rare, it is because the original cover was of the Beatles butchering dolls. Because of the negative response to the original cover, the record company decided to paste over this cover with the trunk cover you see in the picture. Most albums with the trunk cover you see today are not butcher covers. They are simply trunk covers. How can you be sure this is the unpeeled butcher cover? As you can see in the closeup, Ringo's V of his shirt in the butcher cover is showing through the top cover. This is also called a stage 2 butcher cover. Don't miss out on this rare cover. It is M- condition and the LP is in M- condition also...... I do not accept PayPal. I accept money orders or cashier's checks only. Please email your mailing address at the end of the auction so I can figure the shipping charges based on your location. Thanks
