Description
Ginny Robertson and Beth Trader – Una Y Una (Spencer-Alquist Audio Enterprise (SA-102770), US 1971) CONDITION: Cover: EX (blank white cover, signed) Record: VG++ (label is signed, some lite sleeve scuffs, one mark marks does some some clicking but there are no skips) This one is a complete mystery to me. The only hints of who this lp is by is the signatures on the side one label by Ginny Robertson and Beth Trader, as well as Ginny’s signature on the blank white cover, which is dated 1971. Again, the cover is just blank with no print. The labels say Una Y Una at the top (which I am assuming is the lp title) and list the song titles. The music is mostly female folk with occasional folk psych and pop psych leanings with Ginny and Beth in harmony and solo vocals, strumming acoustic guitar and tambourine. The whole affair has a very lost, basement production feel to it. I am assuming that this is a Christian based lp with songs like “Child of God” and “Words”, but they also do covers of “Proud Mary”, “Ghost Riders”, “Dream”, “Tumbling Tumbleweeds”, “Sugar, Sugar”, etc. If you like music that is similiar to stuff done by Linda Rich, Jean Wahlstrom and Marj Snyder, this will suit you just fine. No reserve. Good luck!
