Description
here is one of the rarest records there is, roland kirk triple threat on black king lable 539, i had taken this to the highland record store and the man told me this would grade,, record vg and cover good, i am not a expert, and there is no one that will grade a record the same, i will tell you every thing i see and you can take that along with the pictures and see what you think, cover is worn and is split across the top, and 3 inch down the top spine, my fought on that i should have taken the record out of cover :{. fuzzy on cornors, and not as clean as it should be,, the record now, plays threw good, sounds good, there is some light back ground noise, and some popping on slow groove, [there is a scratch 5/8 inch long on that song, i marked this in the picture with a white square box. ] but it just pops, and a place on stormy weather maybe 1/8 inch and this pops also, rest is minor scratches from taking it in and out of sleeve, side two has just minor scratches, we played both sides of this, again it played threw, with popping in those places and minor back ground noise, there is also a very tiny hold on the lable, i dont know if this was in a juke box or what, side one rolands theme, slow groove, stormy weather, side two the nearness of you, a la carte, easy living, triple threat,,, this is a very rare roland kirk record, i dont know how many are out there or how many is in very fine shape, but if you look up completed auctions on ebay you will see what the last on brong,,,i am not a expert on grading, i tried to be as honest as i can, i took a lot of pictures, some of the spots you see are glares, but i am sure you will be able to tell the differents, no res. payment within 7 working days. at the end of auction i will give shipping cost. priority shipping will only run 5.50 but ins going to be end of auction cost. but you will only pay actual shipping cost, any questions please email or call bob at 502-419-8031, peace and good luck
