The Penguins: This classic Los Angeles based Doo Wop group were formed during 1953 and are responsible for one of the most collectable singles in the UK.

Earth Angel / Hey Senorita

 

This is a seriously rare 78, and one of the first Rock 'n' Roll records in history!  A very special record indeed.  Whilst copies on 45 are among the rarest records in existence, copies on 78 are hardly common either.  An essential addition to any serious 78 collection.  Condition is good considering the age.  I'm no record collector, but I've had a good look at the quality and there are a few light surface marks, but nothing that I think would effect the quality of the record.  If you have any questions please do ask; I'll be happy to help.  This record was part of my father's collection for more than 50 years and has been well looked after so I hope it goes to a good home.

Finally, I have decided on this postage cost as I really want to make sure I pack such a brittle record well when I send it, so please don't think I'm trying to over charge you off in an attempt to make a greater profit.  If you do want to save some money I'll send the item second class and reduce the costs as a consequence.
