RARE! Original VINYL 1970s : STORM - BE MY FRIEND A private release by a Cyprus based band - see notes below.

Private press LP. Some copies with inner and paste on outer sleeve. Insert reads:
'STORM ORIGINATED IN CYPRUS IN THE EARLY MONTHS OF '74, WITH A CLOSELY KNIT SOUND;TIMES WERE GOOD AND A ROSY FUTURE FORECAST,HOWEVER,THIS ISLAND MYTH WAS TO SUFFER GREAT HARDSHIPS.
IN THE EVACUATION WHICH FOLLOWED WE LOST OUR DRUMMER GLEN THOMPSON AND LEAD GUITARIST DAVE LUDLUM.
UNDAUNTED WE PURSUED OUR MUSICAL ACTIVITIES,DISCOVERING A TOP-CLASS LEAD GUITARIST,TONY BUXTON.THE GROUP STOOD FIRM EVER SINCE.
ONE EVENING LAST SUMMER,FANTASY GREW INTO REALITY IN THE CUDDLY SHAPE OF PHIL HARDING (OF BFBS FAME),WHEN WE WERE DISCOVERED AMIDST RHODEDENDRUM BUSHES AT ONE OF OUR OUTDOOR MESS DANCES.HE SOON GOT TO WORK AT THE STUDIO AND WITHIN A WEEK WE WERE LISTENING TO THE SOUNDS OF STORM ON TAPE.
NATURALLY WE ARE DEEPLY INDEPTED TO YOU PHIL,SO WE WOULD LIKE TO SAY A SINCERE THANK YOU TO YOURSELF AND GROUP TECHNICIAN DAVE PLUMMER FOR THE EFFORTLESS WAY YOU BOTH CARRIED OUT THE LEGEND OF OUR LIVES.

PLEASE READ: I am selling around 30,000 vinyl LPs and Singles that were formerly the library of the British Forces Broadcasting Service on Cyprus. It is a mammoth task as there is no catalogue, so I am working through boxes which are by label and by the disc catalogue number. I've already found several rarities in the first boxes including rare Beatles, demo discs etc, so please look at my other items or save me as a favourite seller if you are a serious record collector. I am not a record dealer but I will always try to describe my items accurately and answer any questions. If you are looking for a rarity, try me and I will look out for it as I work through the 30,000+ discs.
