This item comes from a collection of rare classical records which have been collecting over the years. There are many highly sought after "Golden Age" stereo pressings form Decca SXL, Columbia SAX, HMV ASD, Philips Hi-Fi Stereo, Mercury Living Presence, RCA Living Stereo series, Valois and early mono pressings on Les Discophiles Francais, Ducretet-Thomson, Lumen etc...

All the records are first carefully visually graded in daylight and then play graded.
COVER:
Cover is still in really good condition for this paper item over 60 years old.
There are few creases in front cover and a residue of pen write "33T" (see picture)
Seams are clean with no split.
So front = strong VG, just because of the residue of pen mark.
Back is EX.
RECORD: Visually a few hairlines & surface marks on both sides.
Side 1: a little thin scuff on the 1st track with no jumps.
Background noises tics and cracking but as often with old french mono pressings.
So = VG
Generally some music lovers explain that the sound is better using a mono cartridge for these pressings.
But I did not test it myself.
The piano sound remains really clear.

M mint Cover and extra documents like lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. The record is in brand new condition, absolutely perfect.
EX or VG++ excellent The cover and packaging might have slight wear but excellent aspect overall The disc shows signs of having been played (slight marks), but the loss of sound quality is moderate. Breath, some cracklings & few tics can be heard on very sensitive turntables. VG+ very good + Cover shows some hanling imperfection like normal wear, price tag, cut hole,small writings, creasing, DJ or promo copy stamp or cut in the corner... Most common condition for records. The record has been played few times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality: Surface noise and crackles. Occasional tics. VG very good Cover suffers from folding, important writings, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration,… Now the signs of age and handling are starting to show. You can notice some clear wear on the surface, there is noise (pops and crackles) but no skips.
