Description
This is a very early Cliff Richard single, Mean Streak c/w Never Mind, one of the very rarest Cliff Richard records.
The record has obviously been played many times but plays clearly and forcefully without clicking, jumping, sticking or distorting. When I first heard it, I was quite amazed how good it sounded! Only the usual 78 'hiss' is evident in the lead in and lead out grooves. There are no cracks or bits missing. Note: Although they can break easily, the deep grooves of a 78 mean that superficial marks and scratches usually do not affect play, as is the case here.
The record comes with a Columbia sleeve of the period, which has a catalogue number penned in one corner. I can assure prospective bidders that it will be exceedingly well packed to prevent any damage.
