Mint: The record itself in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows very slight signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality and the cover and packaging have only minimum defects.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played a few times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. A slight amount of wear or tear on the cover or extra items is acceptable.

Good: The record still produces a reasonable sound but has obviously been played a lot. Although showing wear and tear, neither the record, cover or contents display any major defects.

Fair: It is noticeable that the record has been played so much that the sound quality has deteriorated quite a bit. The cover and contents are showing signs of folding, scuffing of edges etc.

Poor: The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise and other deterioration in sound quality.

Bad: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc. The cover and contents will be torn, stained, defaced or even missing.

Postage charges

I offer shipping to the UK, Europe and worldwide. I also offer a postage discount on multiple orders.  Because of the amount of items that are going "missing" in the post within the UK, all items shipped to UK bidders will be despatched  recorded delivery.

    UK (recorded) - £2.50,  plus 50p for each additional 7" vinyl.

    Europe (1st class) - £3.00, plus 50p for each additional 7" vinyl.

     USA (1st class) - £4.00, plus £1 for each additional 7" vinyl.

    Japan (1st Class)- £4.00, plus £1 for each additional 7" vinyl.

For overseas customers, recorded delivery (signed for Airmail) is an additional £3.50, regardless of quantity (although this service is optional, it is strongly recommended).  Winning bidders should seriously consider the purchase of insurance as, although proof of postage is always obtained, the seller accepts no responsibility for the loss of uninsured items during transit and refunds will not be considered.  Refunds for items lost during transit will only be made upon the completion of a successful insure claim against the relevant shipping agent (e.g. Royal Mail). 

I always endeavour to despatch items within 3 days of clearance of payment (excepting weekends and Bank Holidays).

Packaging

I believe you should receive your purchase in the same condition that it was despatched.  Therefore, all records are shipped in superior quality cardboard mailers, specifically designed to transport records, together with internal reinforcing stiffeners, giving ultimate protection during shipping.

Payment Methods

Although Paypal is the preferred payment method I also accept the following:

GBP postal orders.

Personal Cheques (GBP) (Goods despatched on clearance of funds, this may take up to 7 working days)

And cash (GBP, USD & Euro). Please note that cash payments are at the buyers risk.

I do not accept Western Union Money transfers, USD Postal Orders or overseas personal checks.

Can I please ask that payment is made within 7 days of the auction close.

RETURNS POLICY

Please note that refunds will only be considered if records are returned within 7 days of receipt, and in the same condition as when despatched (all vinyls are photographed and recorded before despatch in order to avoid disputes). Also a communication must be sent via the e-bay messaging system stating the reasons for return, method of return, cost of return and return date.  If it is agreed that the records you receive are not of the quality advertised I will of course give a full refund including all postage.   Please note unsolicited or late returns will not be accepted nor refunds considered.

As I ensure each record is securely packaged using only quality packaging materials I do not assume responsibility or offer refunds for goods damaged in transit.

NEITHER DO I GIVE REFUNDS TO PERSONS SUSPECTED OF BIDDING ON VINYLS FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF RECORDING THEM BEFORE RETURN, FURTHERMORE ANY PERSON SUSPECTED OF THIS PRACTICE WILL BE REPORTED TO E BAY & PAYPAL AND THEIR USER ID SHARED WITH FELLOW E BAY RECORD SELLERS.
