Description

This 3xLP Vinyl Box Set of Giuseppe Verdi's Aida is a must-have for any classical music enthusiast. It features the Orchestra and Chorus of the Rome Opera House, conducted by Jonel Perlea (Orchestra) and Giuseppe Conca (Chorus). It includes a 28 Page full size booklet with Synopsis & Libretto. The vinyl material ensures high-fidelity sound quality, and the records are in Very Good Plus (VG+) condition. The vinyl looks to be untouched but there is some slight static crackle during the quiet parts ( for those used to listening to CD’s that have no crackle but less dynamics!!!) I am listening to Side One and once the full Orchestra kicks in with horns blaring it sounds amazing! The only flaw being slight damage to bottom corner of box and the hinge just starting to split (see last photo).


The box set includes the original cover and is released by RCA Victor in 1957. The release title is Aida, and it is sung in Italian. The record label is RCA Victor Red Seal and the speed is 33 RPM. This item is perfect for collectors and those who appreciate the beauty of opera music.
