VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO-SELF TITLED/ANDY WARHOL BANANA COVER (Verve Records, MONO)

Condition of Cover: VG+. Banana is unpeeled, looks like no one has ever attempted to peel it. Banana is complete, 2 tiny nicks near top of the stem of the banana (see pic below). Sticker on back side covers Eric Emerson torso stage picture, but he's under there. This is following the lawsuit and prior to the later "airbrushed" covers. Some minor EW.

Condition of Record: Visual VG, plays strong VG to VG+ depending upon the song. Songs that play VG have a freckle of surface noise intermittently, nothing major, nothing distracting.  

Additional Information: V-5008, Original, MONO. Includes original Verve inner sleeve.  

Comments: Amazing copy of this classic record, hard to find a banana cover in mono someone has not fiddled with. Super group of Lou Reed, John Cale, Sterling Morrison, Maureen Tucker, and Nico! Grading Scale: My grading scale is as follows:

SEALED, M-, NM, NM-, EX+, EX, EX-, VG+, VG, VG-, G+. I do not sell anything lower than G+. My records are visually and play graded to check for accuracy. I consider my VG+ to have no surface noise, and my EX gradings are equivalent to Goldmine's VG++ grading, just more descriptive. My M- is open unplayed.
