Description
THE VELVET UNDERGROUND - "WHITE LIGHT / WHITE HEAT" - Original DEEPGROOVE stereo LP record released in the U.S. in 1968 by MGM/Verve (V6-5046). This is a 1st pressing, and not a re-issue of any kind.
Back cover credits list Lou Reed on "Lead Guitar", and "Here She Comes Now" is mis-titled as "There She Comes Now".
All songs are listed as published by Three Prong Music. The front cover has the original "hidden" skull tattoo image by designed by Andy Warhol and photographed by Billy Name.

Condition of the Record is strong VERY GOOD+ to VG++ / clean & glossy with no groove wear, some evident inner-sleeve marks and longish non-feelable surface scuffs per side. There are just a couple barely feelable smaller marks which result in a few very light backround ticks in a few spots. This Record has been cleaned on a VPI machine and plays VG++ / close to Near Mint / PLAYS GREAT! Blue & silver deepgroove labels are free from handwriting or stickers, and show several light spindle trails per side. Includes the original Verve inner-sleeve which is very good with no splits, a few creases, and yellowing.
Conditon of the Cover is VERY GOOD+ / still wrapped in the original cellophane, with evident corner wear & shelf wear (most of which should be on the exterior of the wrapper only-- not on the actual cover itself). The Warhol/Name skull tattoo is visible when the cover is viewed at certain angles under the light.
