Description
The Velvet Underground & Nico LP from 1967 on Verve V-5008 in MONO. This is the rare original issue with the peel off banana cover.........with the banana still on the cover. The banana is stil 99% intact (no stem) and there is a small tear. Otherwise the banana is very nice. The white gatefold cover is in very nice VG+ condition with some light shelfwear. There are NO split seams, NO creases, NO writing and square corners. This has the big 4 1/2" x 11" black sticker on the back cover that reads "The Velvet Underground & Nico Produced By ANDY WARHOL". The vinyl still has all of it's shine but has a few light marks and plays with some light noise and an occassional pop. The labels are in excellent condition. RARE!! Please email with any questions.
