Description
This is a fairly hard-to-find vinyl copy of Van Morrison's 2002 album Down the Road. The overall appearance of the cover is quite good, but the surface scratches, corner dings, and 2-inch top seam split can't be ignored. As for the vinyl, the sound quality is also very good, but bright side light reveals some surface scuffing, and there's also a series of what look like scratches across about half of the first song on side 4. These visual imperfections don't have any major effect on the album's sound quality, but in all honesty there is some slight surface noise that can be heard between songs and in some of the quieter passages. (But I also think that if you're not trying to hear the surface noise, most people probably wouldn't notice it.) That said, if this were a run-of-the-mill album I'd probably play it safe and not list it on Ebay, but because of both its scarcity and desirability, I've opted to offer it for a greatly reduced price.
