VAN DER GRAAF GENERATOR: Theme One / W (Charisma CB 175)

Original UK release with Dutch ‘Sample Record - Not For Sale’ sticker on the label. I'm not sure why this sticker is on the label; it's Dutch, that I know for certain (I've seen it countless Dutch singles that were sent to DJs in the Netherlands), but whether copies of the UK single were sent out to other countries for promotional purposes, I don't know. Charisma may have used copies like this for promotion in the UK, but I think it's more likely that English copies of the single were sent to the Netherlands (where the single wasn't released) and this particular copy then had a Dutch sticker added, so that it could be sent to a radio station. Record is in excellent condition, bordering on near mint with just the faintest hint of wear in one or two spots (no scratches) and the labels are clean on both sides with one or two spindle marks on the B-side. Not an easy single to find these days, but incredibly rare with this sticker on the label.
