Before you get turned off by the obnoxiously overally 'pyschedelic' title, though it was formerly known as "Pyschedelic Sitar Trash Go-Go" which I don't know if its any better, this compilation of fuzzed out 60's garage-esqe world instrumental pysch sits in the nether regions between the almighty "Nuggets" and Joe Meek's space-pop explorations.

You have it all, the weird Los Diabos "21-7-69" Vincent Price inspired opening intro to the obligatory sitar jams to the fuzzed out guitar backed up by some rowdy bar room piano. In between you have enough oscillation going on to set a god damn whirly bird a flight! You know when a friend hands you a mix and says 'Oh man I know your going to dig every track! I picked them especially out for you - just you!!!' then you cringe because you know its going to have some dopey junk on it that clouds your memory of the killer tracks? This isn't one of them, well maybe not. I don't know how many of you are actively seeking out mix tapes with a pysch-surf-indian-fuzzed-garage instrumental base but if you are then this is a great place to start. Plus where can you go wrong when the album art features day-glo painted woman faux-strumming a sitar??? Yowzers!

And dude check out Lord Sitar's cover of The Stones' "Have you Seen Your Mother Baby"! I haven't heard such an absurdly amazing cover in quite sometime! 8/10 -- Darryl Norsen, Foxy Digitalis

Ultra tripped out 60s psyche explorations -- wild, groovy stuff that blends some with some of wierdest fringe pop tendencies with the anything goes errata of the psychedelic movement! Most of the times are from the heart of the mid-to-late 60s, with a 70s nugget or two -- and the stuff really gets far out without sacrificing a core groove! There's thick, lumbering, rock with traces of funk, searing guitar jams, jazzy and now sound style bits, primitive electronics and tinges of Eastern strings and Latin jamz -- grooves from all over the world! Titles include "21-7-69" by Los Diablos, "Baia" by Jokers, "She Walks Through The Fairs" by Jim Sullivan Sound, "We Love You" by Guy Pedersen & Son Grand Orchestre "We Love You", "Space Buggy" by Crazy Elephant, "Rasal" by Morgans, "Kafka" by Rowdies, "Have You Seen Your Mother Baby" by Lord Sitar and more. - Dusty Groove

GRADING:

All records are play graded conservatively - I have never had a record returned due to bad grading (and I'd like to keep it that way).

NEAR MINT (NM): Like new.

EXCELLENT (EX): Otherwise near mint but has slight cosmetic flaws that don't affect play. Close to perfect, with minor signs of wear or age just becoming evident. The cover might have light ring-wear or minor denting to a corner, but should look close to new.

VERY GOOD PLUS (VG+): The record has been handled and played infrequently or very carefully. On a disc, there may be light paper scuffs from sliding in and out of a sleeve, a slight scratch that does not affect play, or some of the original luster may be lost.

VERY GOOD (VG): Record displays visible signs of handling and playing, such as loss of vinyl luster, light surface scratches, groove wear and spindle trails. Some audible surface noise. Cover has heavy ring wear, seam splits, bent corners, loss of gloss, stains.

VERY GOOD MINUS (VG-): Vinyl may have numerous scratches including heavy scratches that will tick, heavy surface noise. The cover might have large seam splits, tears, or writing on the cover that obscures the artwork. I usually don't list records in this condition unless it is an extremely rare title.

SHIPPING:

All records are removed from the outer sleeve before shipping, and packed in a corrugated record mailer with cardboard spacers on either side to prevent damage. I do not use flattened Priority Mail boxes, padded envelopes, pizza boxes, etc. I collect records & know how I would want them shipped to me. I typically ship the day after I receive payment; turnaround time is usually 1 day to 3 days at the most.

For ALL locations double LPs & multi record sets count as 2 or more LPs.

Estimated delivery time: 1-3 weeks. I've never had any problems with Media Mail when mailing records (or buying them myself), but please don't ask me when the lp is going to arrive, ok?

Priority Mail is insured for up to $100.00 & will get to you in 2-4 days. It will also provide a tracking number when the lp is shipped. REQUIRED for albums over $100.00 in value.
