Cover: ex- (bottom seam has minor paper tearing) Great lp with the first ever recording showcasing the capabilities of the Electronic Music Studios "Synthi" VCS-3. Hankinson attempts to outdo the famous Moog classical lps with a selection of works by Bach, Sweelinck, Scarlatti, Clementi, Mozart, and Beethoven; he layers up to 11 overdubbed tracks at once from the EMS synthesizer, which has a range that may well rival the Moog. To Hankinson's credit, his notes express a genuine interest in creating serious modern electronic orchestrations for classic works rather than making a novelty record; he went on to compose for the Chappell Recorded Music Library.

International Shipping for 1 12" lp to Western Europe/UK/Scandinavia/Japan/Taiwan/Australia is 15.00 for First Class Airmail; to Canada is 8.50 for First Class Airmail; other international destinations vary, please email for a quote. 7" and 10" records will cost less; heavy box sets will cost more. Combine multiple items to save on shipping. Note: I can also offer international buyers the super-cheap M-Bag bulk airmail rate for orders of 9 or more lps; to most destinations this starts at 35.00 for up to 17 lps, a huge per-record savings over standard rates for smaller parcels! All records are shipped with poly plastic sleeves. All packages are completely sealed with strong packing tape covering all openings.
