Incredible unreleased session of Lafayette Afro Rock Band meets Mal Waldron. Pressed in an edition of 60 as radio promos only. As you can imagine very few copies have survived. Recorded, produced and released by Pierre Jaubert on his Calumet label. The session is amazing Fender Rhodes lead jazz funk with heavy breaks. Why this lp was never released is a mystery, as it certainly should have. Check the audio, you’ll freak out. Side A starts off the audio with extracts from ‘Home again’ (5’20) and ‘Red Match Box’ (9’45) then we have ‘Bits and Things’ (7’35) and ‘Candy Girl’ (5’10) from side B, I left out ‘Dedication to Brahms’ which is a bit boring. Comes with a plain white bag, a sleeve was never made. Side A is EX+ Side B is EX- with a couple of small scratches that click a few times and some light surface noise and scuffs.
