Description
The Unlimited Touch self-titled 1981 LP is a first U.S. pressing on the Prelude Records label. This original 12" vinyl delivers the signature disco funk and contemporary R&B sound that defined the early 1980s. It includes the extended 7:21 version of “Searching to Find the One,” a fan favorite and dance floor classic.
Artist Background:
Unlimited Touch was a New York–based post-disco / soul-funk group created with help from Crown Heights Affair members Raymond Reid and William Anderson. The lineup featured Audrey Wheeler, Philip Hamilton, Tony Cintron, Sandy Anderson, Stephanie James, and Lenny Underwood. Their breakout hit “I Hear Music in the Streets” reached #6 on the U.S. Dance chart in 1981. Despite a short career, their sound became a cornerstone of the early-’80s boogie and funk movement.
