Hard-To-Find LP from Project Eternity titled "Eternity" self-released on Whoa Records (PE-0388) in 1986. Extremely rare private pressing from this Pennsylvania progressive/psych rock group. I had four of these albums before and completely sold out but luckily obtained five more which I will be auctioning off occasionally. There were not many pressed and very few were circulated. The remaining leftover stock (about 30 copies) fell into the hands of a connection who has been selling them to me a few at a time. These will not be around for very long!

The album has 9 tracks that fall heavily into progressive rock territory with obvious influence from the band Yes. Driving bass and drums, excellent keyboards and an outstanding guitarist which is the high point on this record...great chops! Lead vocals are shared by two who sound very young and untrained but perform bravely pulling off some interesting harmonies. Lyrics are lame but probably true to most rock songs.

The sound production has an amateur quality probably due to budget constraints but they did their best adding drenching reverb to the whole affair with the vocals benefiting the most. The heavy handed reverb also gives the whole album a dreamy/psychedelic atmosphere besides covering up obvious weaknesses.

I've played this album to all my proghead friends and all were quite impressed. Hard to believe this album was missed by both Hans Pokora and the Acid Archives! A truly scarce unknown gem! Record comes in a stickered plain blue cardboard sleeve with die-cut center window where photo on insert shows through.

IMPORTANT TO ALL POTENTIAL BIDDERS! All the vinyl albums have a fairly significant storage warp. This batch is flatter than the first batch but still very noticeable and may have problems playing on a sensitive turntable set-up. This can be remedied by adjusting the stylus weight. Potential bidders please take the warp into consideration before placing your bid.

Labels are in MINT condition. Besides the above noted warp, the vinyl record is in EXCELLENT condition with new-like luster and some light sleeve fogging. Plays with some light surface noises that existed on the new pressing but nothing distracting...sounds great! Cover is in MINT condition...still in shrink only opened to make sure record would play. Insert is in EXCELLENT condition with some light discoloration (tanning) at corners on one side only.
